January 2009 Meeting

 Please note that the January general

meeting is on January 1, 2009 New Year’s

Day.

 With Joe moving to Vice President there is a

vacancy on the Executive Council. As it

stands, Roger moves up from the alternate

slot and a new alternate is needed. Please

let us know if you have any interest in this

role.

GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

The Christmas dinner was held in lieu of the

general meeting.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

 The TRC Christmas dinner was held

December 4

at Captain George’s.

Approximately 40 members and guests

attended a bountiful feast and good time.

 Mike Purcell received the 2008 Man of the

Year. He was recognized for his help with

the club’s events, public relations at the

Oceana Airshow, volunteering whenever

asked including mowing the field grass, and

even more importantly volunteering to clean

out the porta-potty.

 Mark Ward recognized Jennifer Batte and

Samantha Spoor for assisting with the

Warbird over Wildhorse event including their

efforts in selling a large number of tickets for

a successful raffle.
